We used Jeff for both the groom's cake and our wedding cake for our wedding weekend, and both were to die for.
For the groom's cake, which we had at our rehearsal dinner, we had the chocolate cake with salted caramel filling with the fudge icing, and everyone loved it. Originally we had a chocolate and vanilla cake for our wedding cake, but after some discussion with Jeff, we went all white: french vanilla cake, with a meyer lemon zested cream cheese filling and raspberry preserve. All of our guests were invited to the rehearsal dinner, so this gave everyone the best of both worlds.
Additionally, we had a reasonable number of guests with Celiac Disease, and we were able to order gluten-free cupcakes for those guests, including my father. Our guests that had a wheat intolerance, appreciated this to no end, and said how good the cupcakes were - I'm pretty sure some of our guests ate some without even realizing that they were gluten free.
So many of our guests commented on not only how beautiful our wedding cake was, but how delicious it was! Everyone said they went back and got seconds and thirds of our wedding cake before leaving for the night, and mentioned how it was some of the best wedding cake they have ever had.
